BOARD OF INTERMEDIATE AND SECONDARY EDUCATION, FAISALABAD
a) DIVISION / MARKS IMPROVE
The candidate who has passed the Intermediate Examination may, at his / her option, avail himself / herself of one opportunity within two years to appear in the Examination for the purpose of improving the aggregate of marks obtained by him/her previously, in the same subjects in which he / she had earlier appeared and passed. He / she will not be eligible for the grant of concessional marks according to the Board Rules, such as candidate, if successful in improving the marks in any offered subject, shall be granted a fresh certificate of marks / grade on surrendering the certificate issued previously. A candidate as aforesaid shall not be eligible for the award of a scholarship or any other academic distinction on the basis of the improved marks.
b) ADDITIONAL SUBJECTS
Any candidate who has passed the Intermediate Examination may be allowed to appear in any subsequent examination on payment of the prescribed fee in a subject or subjects which without practical not passed by him previously. Such a candidate on obtaining pass marks in all the offered subject or subjects shall be granted a Certificate to that effect. c) GRACE MARKS CONCERN Candidates failing in any subject/s, paper/s to qualify for want of not more than one percent of the total number of marks allotted to the relevant group have been benefited for requisite number of marks in the subject/s in which they have failed so as to enable them just to qualify for the grant of certificate. These grace marks have not been physically added in the marks obtained by the candidates in the said subject/s or the aggregate shown in the gazette.
d) The Candidates who are not satisfied with their result may exercise option about participation in Special Covid•19 Examination, 2021. Before entering in special covid•19 examination, such candidates will get their result of this Annual Examination 2021 cancelled without any right of its restoration.
11. GRADING FORMULA
